🎆 Grimmjow's First New Years Sleepover! 🎆

[ After the situation on the balcony, things had calmed down a little. Yui and Grimmjow had separated for a brief time, but only so that Yui could go get a few things since she was spending the night with him. Her pajamas and a few toiletries, and she let Melissa know that she would be gone for the evening for "New Years Festivities." Melissa seemed to have bought it and reminisced about being a kid again (odd for a doll, but Melissa was odd to begin with).

After that, she'd hurried back to Grimmjow's room. It was the only one of the Arrancar's rooms that she knew where was without having to seriously think about it, since it was the only one she'd been to unless she needed to drag one of them out to actually attend class or to bring them something. Grimmjow's she'd been to frequently though, for those reasons and far more intimate ones. (It was best to just come over first thing in the morning or he'd surprise her later in the day at a far less appropriate time too..)

Now that she was settled and changed into her jammies, Yui made her way to Grimmjow's bed to sit on the edge of it, folding her legs atop the duvet. ]

[ There was definitely something different about how it felt tonight. In general, the overall night had been more about them as people and being together, rather than immediate needs. The future was trick business and the more that Yui thought about it, the harder it became to face. But the future wasn't set in stone, and Grimmjow was trying. Even if he couldn't say it and mean it, he didn't lie to her and he was still trying. That was more than enough.

Yui leaned forward, burying her face against Grimmjow's chest as he thrust inside of her. More than just being fucked for once, with how he was taking it more slowly, meeting her and savoring it, it was almost like making love. Yui could feel it, she just wished she could convince herself that it was really that. The more he insisted that he couldn't love her the more confused she got, but it was nice. [he was trying, he really was. he was still trying to understand the ways of humans, the human heart, and if he really was even capable of loving her. he wore his heart on the outside, but even so... what he felt for her, he knew to be real. he wanted her forever, he wouldn't ever leave her side or allow her to leave his. he said he would give up his throne and that was a big deal for someone like him.

After a moment, she realized that was a caring kiss, an apology, and a little puff of laughter left her lips, a smile breaking onto them only a second later. ]

[it didn't even matter to him that she was human and they weren't of the same species. she was just... just his, just something that he wanted and needed, and he hadn't realized just how badly he needed her in his life until he thought of her no longer in it. it hurt him still to consider, and he would fight for her, to be with her- he knew that now.

he heard her begin to laugh and he had to lift his head away from her neck to look down at her. he wondered why she was laughing, but... he just figured she was in a good mood after what they did. the espada, instead of looking normally grumpy, looked a bit more pleased than usual.

he still didn't know if he alone could truly love, he had never experienced it before, but... perhaps it was true after all. he felt something for her indeed, a kind warmth that definitely engulfed his whole body, and hearing her laugh only made it grow.]

Yui-... [he dipped back down and went to kiss at that tender spot yet again. his kisses were light, barely even there, but he knew she could feel them.] ...I'm... happy with you.

[it was true, and grimmjow was hardly one to lie.] ...I'm grateful that you're mine.

[ They were light enough that even though her flesh was sore there, slowly starting to bruise where his teeth had been earlier, it didn't hurt. That Grimmjow could be that gentle and caring was almost surprising. He had shown an affinity for her ever since they were together, but it was almost as if he had just learned that this 'possession' of his was precious to him.

His words as he tried to explained how he felt made it clearer and Yui pressed a small kiss to the little bone mask. If his heart was truly trapped inside of there, then maybe it would feel her love through that. ]

I'm grateful to be yours too, Grimmjow-s.. No, I should just call you Grimmjow, shouldn't I?

[the gesture was definitely much appreciated. it was grimmjow's turn to let out a little laugh at the way she kissed his bone mask, but that was due to how happy she made him. he did feel it, and she didn't need to clarify it anymore for him.

the espada now placed both of his hands on either side of her, pushing himself up and away from her. he was still hovering over her, simply staring down at her form underneath him.]

Call me whatever you want... but I guess that'll do, yeah. [he knew she was always about being polite and formal even though he wasn't like that at all. after he answered her he rolled off of her, pulling himself out of her in the process, and he laid beside her with a grunt. he didn't let her go exactly however, he had a hand on her stomach and moved so he was pressed up against her, loving the sensation of her body heat.]

[ It was always nice to see Grimmjow laugh. It didn't happen often when he wasn't fighting, but when she did get the chance, she rejoiced in it. A little gasp left her when he pulled out of her and flopped to the side finally. Yui laid where she was, moving both of her hands to hold Grimmjow's on her stomach. She tilted her head so that she could lean it against his chest. ]

We're close enough that I think it's time... Grimmjow. [ She said it again, not having been close enough with anyone besides her families to simply use just the name, even if there were those who would call her more affectionately on their own. ]

[names really meant nothing to him, but if she figured she wanted to just call him grimmjow then by all means- she was free to. grimmjow rubbed his thumb over her stomach, feeling the warmth of her skin, and he stared off at nothing in particular as they talked.]

Suppose I could start actually sayin' your name more... [if she was gonna be that way, then maybe he should offer a bit more as well.]

No one has ever made me feel this way before, Yui-... just goes to show that you really are somethin' special. [especially to him, after all.]

It's definitely got a better ring than "woman."

[ She had that chiding tone that she took on sometimes, having no problem talking back to him, even if right now it was just an affectionate, joking thing. ]

I'm only special to you.

[ She pulled his hand up to her mouth, pressing her lips against it. ]

Don't throw a fit if I do it again, I'll just call ya whatever I feel like at the time anyways.

[but he was smirking at least, enjoying her company. he didn't care if she chided him or joked back, it amused him and she was definitely free to do so. he watched her as she kissed at his hand, and grimmjow just blinked while feeling the affectionate sensation.]

...When graduation comes, I'll find a way to your world, fuck it.

[ Yui looked surprised when he said that, enough that it even threw her off from chiding him about calling her whatever he wanted. ]

If you get my hopes up, it's going to be even harder.

[grimmjow didn't hesitate to answer her, his tone low and he was simply whispering.]

It's not gettin' your hopes up since I'll definitely do it.

[he didn't know how just yet, but he didn't want to be without yui.]

[ She turned her head, looking into his eyes after he whispered that. He certainly seemed truthful, even if she wasn't sure it was possible.. especially with how he said that she wouldn't be able to see him. But she smiled softly and held his hand a little tighter. ]

I'll wait for you, then.

[it'll be hard since she won't be able to see him, but he will have to figure out a proper way of getting around that in due time as well. he just held her hand right back, settling himself in beside her as he felt himself grow more tired. soon graduation was coming, and the very thought made his stomach twist.

the day was finally here. it was time for graduation, and yui had helped all the other espada to properly understand humans. while he hadn't enjoyed sharing his yui with any of the other arrancar, he knew it was necessary. he wanted all her time to be for him- and she knew it, but in the end the time they did have together didn't feel anywhere long enough. there was a ceremony for them all, a rather extravagant celebration, but grimmjow had ducked away from the festivities. he wouldn't normally be okay with such a party- but now he was definitely more grumpy than usual about it. grimmjow leaned against the wall of one of the buildings in the area, music playing in the distance, and he stared off at nothing in particular. his frown went from his regular lineface to a complete and total scowl. he nearly growled to himself, and that was simply because he was so ticked off at the idea of leaving yui. he would go to her (if she didn't find him eventually) soon enough, he just wanted to be alone momentarily to sort out his anger.

he promised he would go to her, and he meant it, but..,. but dammit, what if he couldn't get her to see him? what if he fucked up over there and exerted too much of his spiritual pressure and killed her? here they had limiters on, she was safe... but he was never one to control his reiatsu on normal days. there were so many things that could go wrong.... but he would find her, he would figure this out... he promised he would.]

[ Yui had spent time making sure that everyone was having a fun time, celebrating with each of them and being overall merry. It was fun, but as the night moved on, she noticed that Grimmjow wasn't exactly partaking with everyone.

She knew why. It was the same reason there was a pit in her stomach despite her being happy that they all made it.

Once she'd made her rounds and spent some time with everyone, she departed from the party as well to go look for him. He probably wanted to be alone, but.. if this was going to be their last day together until Grimmjow found a way for them to be together again, then she didn't want to squander it. She finally found him, speaking up before she approached him. ]

Grimmjow.

[...he had sensed her before she had even arrived.

after this, he would no longer have his limiter on... but even so, he just had a feeling she would come and find him eventually. at first he didn't look at her, he still just stared off at nothing.... but soon he turned to glance at her.]

....Hn. [he thought to himself for a moment, about what to say, but then he decided against it. grimmjow just gestured for her to come closer... he wanted to touch her, to hold her right now. party be damned, while this may not be the last time they see each other, it's the last time for a long time.]

[ Of course he did. And of course she would. If she didn't find them, then she wouldn't get a chance to say goodbye. Even if it wasn't forever, she wanted to at least say those words, so they didn't have any regrets if something happened and Grimmjow couldn't figure out how they could see each other again.

Yui would try too, of course, but she wasn't sure where she would even begin. She couldn't exactly tell her father "help I'm in love with an arrancar, how do I up my reiatsu so I don't pass out when I see him." For one thing, he wouldn't even know what that meant, she was sure. For another, worrying her father wasn't high on her list of priorities. But she would search for other ways, or at least try. She wasn't going to give up so easily. ]

I don't expect you to be the life of the party, but it is partly for you. You should try to enjoy it.
