🎆 Grimmjow's First New Years Sleepover! 🎆

[ After the situation on the balcony, things had calmed down a little. Yui and Grimmjow had separated for a brief time, but only so that Yui could go get a few things since she was spending the night with him. Her pajamas and a few toiletries, and she let Melissa know that she would be gone for the evening for "New Years Festivities." Melissa seemed to have bought it and reminisced about being a kid again (odd for a doll, but Melissa was odd to begin with).

After that, she'd hurried back to Grimmjow's room. It was the only one of the Arrancar's rooms that she knew where was without having to seriously think about it, since it was the only one she'd been to unless she needed to drag one of them out to actually attend class or to bring them something. Grimmjow's she'd been to frequently though, for those reasons and far more intimate ones. (It was best to just come over first thing in the morning or he'd surprise her later in the day at a far less appropriate time too..)

Now that she was settled and changed into her jammies, Yui made her way to Grimmjow's bed to sit on the edge of it, folding her legs atop the duvet. ]

[that was better. grimmjow didn't look at her immediately, he was still staring off to the side for a little while- thinking. when he did finally look over at her, at least he wasn't frowning as much.]

If a guy tries to touch you when we're out- I'm gonna hit 'em.

[he seriously can't make any promises- he'll teach other males a lesson when it comes to touching what's his.]

And you're gonna wear somethin' like that for me soon- understand?

If a man tries to touch me, you can hit him.

[ The closest she even came to being touched by a guy besides Grimmjow even when she was back with the gods was Thoth pinning her to a wall and Tsukito trying to measure her skirt. She wasn't too worried. Most human men wouldn't do anything. As long as he didn't misinterpret affection from her brothers it'd be okay. She didn't expect there'd be any problem with her brothers since they were, well, her brothers. ]

I just said I would, Grimmjow, don't worry. [ She smiles, but she knows that he's going to want to get physical at some point too.. and she wants to as well. There has to be some way to find a way that they can without doing it actually in her room, with her family nearby... ]

[okay- enough of her being far away from him. he was still sitting on the floor, and he gestured for her to come back.]

Get over here.

[but even though he honestly didn't care- he also wanted to know something...] ...what the hell would your family even do if they saw us together? You're so damn worried about it.

[ Yui gives him a sympathetic look as she comes back over to him, sitting next to him and leaning her head on his shoulder. She knows that it's difficult, especially when they could be together all the time before. ]

You're a stranger to them who doesn't have a home to call his own, who can be violent and rude... And I don't care about that- I love you, but they're protective of me because I'm my parents' only daughter and my brothers' only sister. Arrancar might not be that way, but families protect their own, sometimes against the wishes of the person in question. You being like that with me might not leave a good impression, and I really don't want anyone in my family to see me like that anyway... that's a sight you want to keep to yourself, isn't it? Most importantly, I want you to be able to stay here with me instead of not being allowed on the premise any more.

[grimmjow looked down at her now, listening quietly as she spoke. it didn't really make sense to him either way- she belonged to him, didn't she? so they should be allowed to do whatever they wanted together....

but whatever.]

So... it's all 'bout getting in their good books? Cheh... [so damn annoying and unnecessary.]

[ Her ears flush though. She's not sure she really wants to explain that to Grimmjow. ] My parents have certain expectations of me that they'd be very upset with you if they found out we weren't living up to them. Especially since no time passed here when I went missing, so anything you say about us being together for a while would just seem like you were lying. I promise we'll be together eventually, Grimmjow-san.

[good god this was all so fucking annoying for him. grimmjow let out a growl, and then he moved to flop back and lay on his futon. he was laying down on his back, eyes closed, but his frown still remained.]

I don't give a fuck about any of that. You're the one that does. [whateverrrr woman.]

...Since I'm stayin' here forever, then I'll allow this kind of situation for now.

When I graduate from high school- [ Graduation number 3.. ] -I'll be able to move out, and we can have a place together. Then we can be together as much as we want.

[ Yui glanced to the door for a moment, then leaned down to follow him from his laying position, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. ]

[fuck the whole soft kiss situation, he wanted to experience something real to him before having to separate for the night. in an instant, grimmjow had opened his eyes and practically pounced on her. he grabbed her wrists, he pinned her down to the futon, and he was on top of her in a flash.

she'll be angry with him for sure- but like he really cared.]

I'm going to kiss you- and don't stop me.

[before she could even say anything, he had pressed his lips against hers. of course, if he sensed anyone coming he would pull away from her. did he forget to mention that? oh well.]

[ Like she could stop him if he tried. How quickly he had pinned her and kissed her almost reminded her of being beaten in iaido. It always happened in a flash. This was a much more satisfying way to lose, however. Yui let out a tiny little noise after he kissed her, but it wasn't objecting. It was affectionate. It was warm. She pressed the kiss back as much as she could. It was obvious that even if she was saying that they couldn't be like this here, she still wanted to be. She still wanted Grimmjow every bit as much as he wanted her. ]

[she definitely couldn't stop him.... but if she would have told him she didn't want to- then of course he would have no choice but to back off. it was no good if she didn't want him as well- that wouldn't be fun at all.

having her kiss him back, hearing her let out small sounds of approval, only made him want to continue. if he could have it his way, he would have already torn her clothes off and fucked her. taking things slow like this and listening to her- it wasn't in his nature at all. he was simply doing it due to how much he loved her.

grimmjow pressed himself further against her as they kissed. he had parted his lips, now deepening the kiss, and he let out a sound in the back of his throat as well. this was much better than talking about what he could and couldn't do.]

[ The whole reason she'd been objecting had been rooted in the fact that she didn't want to lose him or cause a rift between herself and her family because of him. She wouldn't give him up, and that would've just caused so many issues. Grimmjow wasn't exactly the type of person that you could be proud to bring home to your parents, even if Yui loved him a lot and would stand by him.

Yui could feel Grimmjow's body pressing against hers, letting herself fall into the kiss and let him deepen it, returning in kind. She would likely have to introduce him to a cold shower in a minute, but she wanted to enjoy it while they could. ]

[just as it was starting to get good for the both of them- grimmjow felt one of her brother's start to move. his reiatsu was traveling up the stairs, and grimmjow knew he would have to cut this short. he didn't want to deal with the hassle of her family, or listening to another one of yui's lectures.

immediately, and completely too suddenly, he ripped himself away from her. he moved away from her, and he figured she would hardly know what was going on. when she finally realized what just happened- she would see grimmjow up against a wall, the one furthest from her. his back was up against it, and he was just sitting there looking as bored as ever.

he knew she wouldn't be able to sense her brother coming, but by now she would be able to hear him coming closer to the room they were in. time to play dumb.]

[ Yui would very soon find out that Grimmjow wasn't the problem. She was still laying there almost having not caught onto what was going on when Grimmjow had somehow made his way over to the other side of the room. Her chest was heaving slightly from her quickened breathing, her face a little flushed. She looked over at Grimmjow in a bit of confusion before she heard the foot steps. Oh. Grimmjow could- it made sense. He'd said that he would find her reiatsu, she doubted she was the only one who had one. Still...

Yui stood up as she heard the tapping of her brother's feet as he walked by the room, quickly hurrying over to the door to try to get rid of him. ]

Onii-chan, do you need something?

[ It probably seemed suspicious that she went to check on him just from hearing his footsteps, but she wasn't thinking. Yui was a lot of things, but stealthy was not one of them.

"Where's the new guy? I wanted to have a talk with him if he's going to stay here!" ]

That's really.. not necessary. Besides, he's tired, we were just talking before he was going to go to sleep. You can talk to him tomorrow!

[ "Oh really? I can see the futon, it doesn't look like he's getting ready to go to sleep, Yui." ]

Um... h-he's getting ready. I came out here so he could ha-have.. have some space to change and I saw you!

[wow her brother was goddamn annoying.

he listened quietly, and it sounded as though that guy really wanted to have a talk with him. after huffing to himself, grimmjow stood up and went over to the door. he walked out of the room a little, still half-way in the door, and he now had his hands in his pockets. he stared the brother down, obviously glaring.]

It's alright Yui- if he wants to talk to me then we'll talk.

[ Yui gives Grimmjow a look that's more along the lines of 'don't blow my story!' than gratitude at coming to talk to her brother. She doesn't want them fighting. Not only because she's absolutely sure that Grimmjow would wipe the floor with her brother, but because she wants her family to get along with Grimmjow. She wants them to accept him, and she wants them to like him. She wants them to like him because she loves him, despite his flaws. ]

It's a little late for either of you to be talking.

[ "What are your intentions with my sister?"

Completely ignoring Yui... what kind of brother is he... ~~The normal kind.~~ ]

[and sorry, grimmjow is entirely ignoring her as well.

when he asks that- grimmjow obviously has an answer in mind. he of course would want to be more upfront and tell this prick that he was here to be with yui forever. he would talk about his intentions, however lewd-... but...

he looked over at yui briefly, his cold eyes meeting hers and he knew what her body language was saying. damn this woman. grimmjow then looked back over to the brother.]

Just a visiting friend, just like she was saying. That a problem?

[ If Grimmjow was getting any body language in response to his expressions it would be painfully obvious that 'damn this woman' was not the correct response. Yui looked like a bird with her feathers all ruffled up.

"If you're a friend, how come she's never mentioned you before?"

He was just being a protective brother- even if Grimmjow was telling the truth, if there was a reason that Yui couldn't mention him, that might put her in danger.

But this was the point at which Yui decided to do something she hadn't done in quite the long time. She took a deep breath, then quietly spoke up. ]

I'm going to tell Mom and Dad that you're harassing our guest if you don't leave.

[ It'd been two years and one month since she'd been back in the human world. Having to threaten to tell her parents on her brothers wasn't something she'd done in a long while, since she'd basically been on her own. ]

[it's a good thing that yui had decided to intervene- because grimmjow was finished with talking either way. her brother was annoying, truly, and if he wasn't on orders to behave then he would have already broken this man's face.

actually, the thought almost made girmmjow smile.

the arrancar scoffed after yui had finished, and simply turned to go back into the room.]

I ain't gonna talk about this now, I'm going to sleep. [and he really did plan on sleeping.]

[ Yui was going to get behind her brother and push him out of the room, sighing in exasperation. ]

Good night, Grimmjow. [ There was a beat before she quickly added: ] -s-san.

[ Her brother already caught it though, but Yui was pushing him across the floor so much that his socks were making shuffling sounds as he slid across it. She would be heading to her own room after she got rid of him... when Grimmjow said he would do something, he did it, so she had no doubt that he'd actually be going to sleep now. She should probably do the same. She felt pretty.. well, exhausted in general. She was happy he was back (here? it wasn't like he returned..) but it was a lot to deal with, both physically and emotionally. ]

[after grimmjow had shut the door to his bedroom, he had quickly changed and gotten into his futon. it was true, he was being overly blunt and had enough of lying to her family. he found it to be pointless, he thought it was stupid, but if it meant staying by yui then he would do it.

and contrary to what yui might be thinking that night, he stayed in his room all night instead of coming out to bother her.]

[ She may have wanted him to crawl into her bed, but she fell asleep quickly as she assumed he would be doing the same. Her sleep felt a little lonelier now than it had been though- even if he was here now, he wasn't with her, and that made sleeping a little harder. She had dreams of him. Of being with him, both in general and intimately. She almost thought that she was dreaming when she heard his voice in the distance. There's no way he could be here, right..? That was all just a...

Wait...

No, that's very weird yelling... Yui peeked open an eye to look at her alarm clock. It was so early she wasn't sure the sun was even completely up yet, and she could hear Grimmjow yelling from outside.

Yui drowsily wiped her eyes on her pajama sleeve before going to her window to look out at the yard of the shrine, where she could see Grimmjow. She would just watch for a moment before deciding what to do.. ]

[grimmjow wanted to sleep in today. actually- he was certainly set on it. however when his door had opened and he sensed the presence of another human he woke up right away. her mother had asked him to help move some heavy boxes around in the shrine, she needed both her sons and him as well apparently. he had grunted at her, told her no, but she was just as insistent as yui.

dammit all.

so, grimmjow had gotten up since he figured this woman wouldn't shut up until he helped. he had gone down to the shrine area and helped moved tons of heavier objects. he was taller than yui's brothers, and stronger, so it was easy for him to assist. even in his gigai body- he was still stronger than everyone else in the area.

everything had been going smoothly, until one of her brothers pushed over a stack of boxes in the storage area and caused them to fall on grimmjow's head. he hadn't been happy at all, and of course this prompted a fight. grimmjow was swearing at the brother, and the brother was pushing him back- wanting to fight. so yui would hear all of this eventually.]

Hahh? You wanna fight...? Keh-! I ain't about to pass up that offer- I have't ripped into someone in forever! Keep talkin', I dare ya!

[even as he talked, blood dripped down his face due to just how badly he had been hit by heavy objects. he didn't feel much pain at all, but his gigai body simply wasn't as durable.]

[ Oh god. If Yui had seen him when he was being helpful, she was going to make him breakfast and bring it out to him. But it only took a few seconds before it devolved into him yelling about fighting. Yui quickly slipped on her slippers and nabbed the first aid kit from the cabinet on her way out the door. ]

Grimmjow, you need to have that looked at!

[ The 'need to have that looked at' seemed to somehow say 'come with me now or you're going to end up fighting me.' It didn't particularly matter that Yui couldn't win a fight against him if her life depended on it, she still had no problem giving him that tone. It wasn't even undermined by the fact that she actually was concerned and wanted to clean him up. ]

[...as soon as yui called out to him, he stopped his smiling and frowned. he was just glaring over at her, then back to her brother, then back over to her. he was debating even listening to her- he really did want to fight... but he knew just how mad yui could get too.

grimmjow let out a low grunt, and then went to walk over to her. as he passed her brother, he made sure to have his shoulder collide with the brother's, pushing him back entirely. it was violent and immature but like hell he cared.]

I'm fine.

[he said that once he was closer to her, but he wasn't exactly resisting her. he waited for her, indicating that she should lead the way.]
